How Pitch Changer handles files, website requests, and analytics

Last updated: August 20, 2026

Summary

Pitch Changer decodes, previews, pitch-shifts, and exports audio locally in browser memory. The current service has no audio upload endpoint, account system, payment flow, or cloud audio storage.

Audio Files

Selected audio bytes, decoded buffers, preview state, and exported WAV files stay on your device. Refreshing or closing the page clears the in-memory workbench state, subject to ordinary browser behavior.

Your browser may save a downloaded result when you choose the download link. That local download is controlled by you and your browser settings.

Website Requests

Hosting and network providers may process ordinary request data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, request time, requested URL, user agent, and security events.

Cookies and Analytics

Pitch Changer uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand visits, page usage, site performance, and interaction patterns. These services may process information such as visited pages, referrer, browser and device details, approximate location derived from IP address, and cookie or similar identifiers under their own privacy terms.

The pitch changer workspace is masked for Clarity so displayed file names and tool values are not included in recordings. Analytics scripts do not receive selected audio bytes, decoded audio, or exported WAV files from the tool.
